This video describes the Macuxi techniques for producing clay vessels, and they were passed on to indigenous people from different tribes, with different cultures and traditions during the Vovó Barro workshop. It’s that exchange of knowledge that will contribute to maintaining that tradition and help to create a cultural identity link and collective memory among the participants.
The workshop was offered by the Indigenous Cultural andTraining Centre (CCFI), coordinated by the Humanitarian Fraternity (FIHF), with the support of the Plastic Arts Course of the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR).
